Fire Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Morientes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The throw-in from Howard Archambault in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fire Devils's Sven-Arne Bengtsson. In the 11th minute Zlatko Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiran Tomasini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Fire Devils from getting a goal against them. Zlatko Ibrahimović's late challenge caught a THE ROKERY PIMKIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zlatko Ibrahimović helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zlatko Ibrahimović hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Earvin Mela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24thth minute of the game Zlatko Ibrahimović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by THE ROKERY PIMKIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Giger was slow to take the kick. During this time Fire Devils's players had a chance to rest. In the 28th minute, Benjamin Kreyenbühl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Mino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 29th playminute. In the 32nd minute Zlatko Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiran Tomasini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Kiran Tomasini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Fire Devils's Zlatko Ibrahimović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kiran Tomasini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger got control of the ball when Jorge Luna tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jorge Luna took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Olaf Geiger to make any attempt to save it. Kiran Tomasini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho was substituted for Zlatko Ibrahimović. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Gaúcho to make the kick off. Olaf Geiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Morientes in the 56th minute of play. Olaf Geiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Edmílson Gaúcho could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Kiran Tomasini however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th minute Jorge Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Geiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Geiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Luna in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Gaúcho in the 63rd minute of play forced THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Geiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Mino in the 66th minute of the match. Ismael Kalnik kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Ismael Kalnik got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fire Devils's zone, Alessandro Finotti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Geiger came out of the goal and Alessandro Finotti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olaf Geiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Luna in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferris Stock in the 74th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Olaf Geiger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Geiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidele Barajo in the 78th minute of the match. Edmílson Gaúcho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Kiran Tomasini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd minute Fidele Barajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Geiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Bengtsson. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kiran Tomasini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmílson Gaúcho in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidele Barajo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olaf Geiger saved Fire Devils from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Benjamin Kreyenbühl got a free kick in the 95th minute. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
