In the 4th minute Hermann Luscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Friesenwerdermoor's Prospero Goethe got control of the ball when Don Merlot tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th play minute Don Merlot came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Prospero Goethe. 1-0. Jamal Roye took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timo Courtois. Timo Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Friesenwerdermoor getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Artur Schade hit a great ball. Don Merlot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Goethe having to interfere. Prospero Goethe had great luck who in the 16thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alberigo Sessa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 18th minute, Alberigo Sessa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Prospero Goethe. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 20th minute Jamal Roye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Roye in the 21st minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Silveira during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Friesenwerdermoor booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Gerster in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Hermann Luscher came free, but Timo Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberigo Sessa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Goethe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Sessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamal Roye to make the kick off. Don Merlot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Goethe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. If Alberigo Sessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Alberigo Sessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Timo Courtois made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ingemar Mense sent off a good shot on target. Timo Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Mense in the 61st minute. Don Merlot scored 4-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Goethe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Friesenwerdermoor's Pekin Energin was substituted for Lennard Rossmanith. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Artur Schade with Tom Gerster as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alberigo Sessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 77th minute of play forced Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Prospero Goethe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alberigo Sessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSV Ulm 1846's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Sessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Goethe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Goethe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Sessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Artur Schade made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SSV Ulm 1846's Afonso Silveira. SSV Ulm 1846's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
