Patrick Knechtli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gaudencio Lekubegi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Knechtli having to make a save. In the 14th minute Gaudencio Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Knechtli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuno Kubin might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Knechtli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuno Kubin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Fred Stutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LavAzzA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute Raik Topuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Téo Savion could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Iwan Lepucki however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 29th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Patrick Knechtli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gaudencio Lekubegi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 minutes Olympique Fribourg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amerigo Labarra who took care of the corner kick. Iwan Lepucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik Topuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. LavAzzA's attentive Amerigo Labarra managed to snatch the ball when Daniel Schroeder made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Knechtli. Olympique Fribourg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Patrick Knechtli came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Lekubegi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 45thth minute of the game Gaudencio Lekubegi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adam Vase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Patrick Knechtli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Olympique Fribourg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LavAzzA were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Lekubegi made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the game Daniel Schroeder made a throw-in which Raik Topuz played forward. In the 60thth minute of the game Gaudencio Lekubegi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Lekubegi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Knechtli. Gaudencio Lekubegi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Gaudencio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iwan Lepucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik Topuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Iwan Lepucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raik Topuz in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Patrick Knechtli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LavAzzA's Gauthier Spiller was substituted for Kuno Kubin. In the 74th minute of the match LavAzzA got a corner. Olympique Fribourg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amerigo Labarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olympique Fribourg's Patrick Knechtli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Fribourg from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Knechtli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 85th minute of play. Gaudencio Lekubegi might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Knechtli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Lekubegi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute Gaudencio Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Knechtli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when LavAzzA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franc Fabra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Lekubegi scored 0-9 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Knechtli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LavAzzA played a much better game than Olympique Fribourg and deserved their victory. The Olympique Fribourg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
