The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xie Cheng Xiao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Fergus Maina made a huge save. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ämmer Sportfreaks! Fergus Maina had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Loris Groß's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Loris Groß took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fergus Maina. Fergus Maina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Cheng Xiao in the 13th minute of play. After 16 minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loris Groß who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Klaus Wauters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Silverio Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ämmer Sportfreaks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Godoy couldn't finish the play. Fergus Maina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Cheng Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Horacio Ignatius in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc Schönhagen's Baldovino Argos. Horacio Ignatius made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Patricius Lafranchi immediately put the ball in play. 28 minutes into the match, Patricius Lafranchi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fc Schönhagen's Bernhardt Reshauge. Bernhardt Reshauge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ämmer Sportfreaks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Xie Cheng Xiao scored to the left of an out of position Fergus Maina, making the score, 2-1. If Xie Cheng Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 39th minute, but Fergus Maina got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Ämmer Sportfreaks hanging dry this time. 41 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xie Cheng Xiao. Gutierre Lauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Loris Groß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Maina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Rodrigues. After 62 minutes, Xie Cheng Xiao made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th match minute, Fc Schönhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Cheng Xiao to maneuver through the defense. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Cheng Xiao in the 71st minute of play. Fergus Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Cheng Xiao in the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Cheng Xiao came free, but Fergus Maina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernhardt Reshauge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 76th minute. Fc Schönhagen's supporters rose to their feet, but Xie Cheng Xiao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fergus Maina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fc Schönhagen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ämmer Sportfreaks had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
