Marcel Mallinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ullrich Böhlert, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When FV Wienerwald's Jiang Yang Yuan in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Hydén got free with Marcel Mallinger in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ralf Szüczs took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Burkhardt Teubler. Burkhardt Teubler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marcel Mallinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ullrich Böhlert in the 27th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Biene Maja 09's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Alfonsi came free, but Burkhardt Teubler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claudio García fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biene Maja 09's protests and gave Claudio García a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Biene Maja 09 getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Claudio García hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anfilogino Alfonsi to make the kick off. Felix Hanschirik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burkhardt Teubler having to interfere. Marcel Mallinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ullrich Böhlert, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Jiang Yang Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jiang Yang Yuan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Burkhardt Teubler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Burkhardt Teubler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Szüczs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FV Wienerwald's Per Nienhaus was substituted for Jiang Yang Yuan. In the 66th minute, Justus Sandkühler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Nienhaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Burkhardt Teubler made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Hanschirik in the 82nd minute of play forced Biene Maja 09's goalkeeper Burkhardt Teubler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Nils Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Mallinger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Biene Maja 09's goalkeeper Burkhardt Teubler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Nienhaus. The supporters of Biene Maja 09 booed when FV Wienerwald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Szüczs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FV Wienerwald players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
