Balus Treter were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Espen Steelers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elivélton Tavares took the corner. The corner ended in Milenko Ermentraut almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel did a great save. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Montez in the 7th minute of the match. Gregor Kobel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Schurter in the 37th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karsten Zielinski made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Alain Berset sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nino Schurter to strike the kick off in the second half. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Schurter in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Gottlieb Hammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balus Treter's Hannes Esch got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Alain Berset ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karsten Zielinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 79thth minute of the game Gottlieb Hammer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Lupea came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Lupea scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karsten Zielinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Espen Steelers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Balus Treter for a fine match.
