In the 2nd match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Nienhaus to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Elenescu scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jiang Shu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jiang Shu came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jiang Shu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jiang Shu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 14th minute of play. Jiang Shu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, FC BAYBURT's 蒋松博 got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Weigl in the 24th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 25th minute of play. When Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jiang Shu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Alexander Weigl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC BAYBURT's Silvain Grootaerts got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 36th minute of play forced FC BAYBURT's goalkeeper Jiang Shu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jiang Shu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, FC BAYBURT's Josef Schmitt got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jiang Shu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Wilhelm Nienhaus sped through FC BAYBURT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jiang Shu. The FC BAYBURT players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hertha 1969 were winning 0-4.
FC BAYBURT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Wilhelm Nienhaus scored to the left of an out of position Jiang Shu, making the score, 0-5. In the 58th minute, Lüder Roppel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 60th minute of play forced FC BAYBURT's goalkeeper Jiang Shu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu got control of the ball when Gigel Elenescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Wilhelm Nienhaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Stefan Mayer replaced Lüder Roppel. If Wilhelm Nienhaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Nienhaus lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Jiang Shu. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Rupert Heidingsfelder got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, FC BAYBURT's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Heidingsfelder came free, but Jiang Shu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Othello Simon in the 83rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Jiang Shu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85th minute Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner. Zé Paulo da Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Jiang Shu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, FC BAYBURT's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Heidingsfelder came free, but Jiang Shu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Rupert Heidingsfelder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jiang Shu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BAYBURT's goalkeeper Jiang Shu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rupert Heidingsfelder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Jiang Shu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stefan Mayer kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Hertha 1969 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hertha 1969 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
