The Hamburg Fighters fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Othello Simon might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pavlos Konstantakakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Othello Simon ran back to his position shaking his head. Othello Simon came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pavlos Konstantakakis could save by the left post. Jiang Shu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Bocu in the 19th minute of the match. Dinu Bocu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Othello Simon. Jiang Shu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Bocu, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinu Bocu in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jiang Shu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Hamburg Fighters were awarded a corner. Wieslaw Obuchowicz went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Bocu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jiang Shu saved FC BAYBURT from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Othello Simon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC BAYBURT booed when Hamburg Fighters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Schmettau didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Bocu got free with Jiang Shu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Hamburg Fighters getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Maicon Fonseca hit a great ball. Jiang Shu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianni Balla in the 57th minute of play. Jiang Shu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandros Hölsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang Shu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinu Bocu's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 73rd minute Othello Simon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Konstantakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Othello Simon hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st match minute, FC BAYBURT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 叶斌国 to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Dinu Bocu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu. Jiang Shu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dinu Bocu in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jiang Shu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jiang Shu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Dinu Bocu sent off a good shot on target. Brandon Rick kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brandon Rick got free with Jiang Shu in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Dinu Bocu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Shu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavlos Konstantakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Othello Simon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
