The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iulian Berceanu got free with Clark Kent in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If James Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn Fyfe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Dijoux went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute Alex Dijoux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Del Piero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Clark Kent made a huge save. Zorros del Desierto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Alessandro Del Piero scored to the left of an out of position Clark Kent, making the score, 1-1. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Del Piero got free with Clark Kent in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clark Kent made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Iulian Berceanu sent off a good shot on target. Zorros del Desierto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Alessandro Del Piero scored to the left of an out of position Clark Kent, making the score, 2-1. Pape Lillo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for James Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match A4p FC Gad got a corner. Zorros del Desierto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Pachucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zorros del Desierto's goalie and right to Dumitru Purcărete. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zorros del Desierto's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Scorpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zorros del Desierto's Sebastián Roco was substituted for Pape Lillo. In the 62nd match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Dalmo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Pachucki came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clark Kent didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from James Batistuta went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. Clark Kent came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by A4p FC Gad's Flavius Cândroveanu. But to his dismay, Flavius Cândroveanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Dumitru Purcărete's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Purcărete helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gică Busuioc in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clark Kent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clark Kent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Cândroveanu in the 85th minute of play. When Zorros del Desierto's Quique Cordoba in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A4p FC Gad's goalie prevented a goal. When 邱振广 came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the A4p FC Gad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 邱振广 couldn't finish the play. The A4p FC Gad fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 邱振广 struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Clark Kent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A4p FC Gad.
