The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Karl-Heinz Rummenigge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C. A. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateusz Marajda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 14 minutes of play, C. A. Potrero's Mateusz Marajda made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willian Cuesta was left in no man's land by his defense there! C. A. Potrero's Pastor Montrell got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsando Fierro in the 22nd minute of play.
