In the 6thth minute of the game Fernando Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lunatico F.C's zone, Fernando Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Gaizko came out of the goal and Fernando Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Marinho came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Lunatico F.C got a freekick which was hit by Celso Berdoi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Cilio got free with Kuno Lüdimõis in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Lunatico F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Marinho came free, but Santiago Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boguslaw Zdeb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Cilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Kuno Lüdimõis made a huge save. 44 minutes into the game, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Gaizko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Lunatico F.C's Amador Perico got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Marinho in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Gaizko saved Lunatico F.C from getting behind. Wiktor Ferfecki hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Lunatico F.C's Joël Devidal was substituted for Rosendo Sanson. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC ICEWIND DALE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso Berdoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Lunatico F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lunatico F.C's Celso Berdoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Kuno Lüdimõis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 72nd minute of play. Jouke Krol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute, Jouke Krol made a precise shot to the right of Kuno Lüdimõis. FC ICEWIND DALE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. FC ICEWIND DALE's Patryk Ranowiecki was substituted for Fernando Marinho. With a little luck, Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko got control of the ball when Patryk Ranowiecki tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC ICEWIND DALE's Ismail Perin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulo Feliu in the 84 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jouke Krol in the 86th minute of play forced FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko got control of the ball when Patryk Ranowiecki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lunatico F.C's Santiago Gaizko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lunatico F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Patryk Ranowiecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuno Lüdimõis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jouke Krol's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC ICEWIND DALE players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
