Mihnea Plăcintă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guter Tobia went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Bonifacio Olle quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alejo Goyo, made in the 29th minute of the game. After 29 played minutes Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Cano. In the 45th minute, Jurand Banas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Luisinho Uribe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Uribe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 89th minute Efrain Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Plăcintă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Clarence Seedorf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aves Negras and the Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 players grew even worse after the yellow card.
