The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franko Armani. Franko Armani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jeremias Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from López Heredia, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Teodelina FC's López Heredia got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodelina FC's Franko Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Teodelina FC from getting a goal against them. Horia Păuceanu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Benjamin da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Pesqueira City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. In the 30th match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Vaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute López Heredia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from López Heredia, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Teodelina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Savinov didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Teodelina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. José Pedro Borges hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Gotzon. 76 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Buinton came free, but Jeremias Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Buinton in the 78th minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Jeremias Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Pesqueira City got a corner. Teodelina FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Hansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pesqueira City's Fabian Hansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franko Armani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Franko Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Hansson in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Teodelina FC's Franko Armani. Franko Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute Cristian Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin da Fonseca in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franko Armani saved Teodelina FC from getting behind. Sebastião Quintal scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franko Armani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pesqueira City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Teodelina FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
