Stefan Rasiak was a little too slow when Teodosio Oinatz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Ezel Lobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stefan Rasiak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Lobo Bicherakhov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Rico in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Kellman in the 67th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Teodosio Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Rasiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Oinatz in the 73rd minute of the match.
