In the 6th minute Godfried Teunens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Octavio Nueva hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see PHOENIX SC's Hanung Sephtianda in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Hendrickx in the 14th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli got control of the ball when Ronan McCunn tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Bichineta's Silvestre Peli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save La Bichineta from getting a goal against them. Ray Clemence stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfried Teunens's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. A collision led to La Bichineta getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arnaldo Pirmin hit a great ball. Attila Toldi kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Godfried Teunens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Clemence. PHOENIX SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfried Teunens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ray Clemence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfried Teunens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Hendrickx in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Peli saved La Bichineta from getting behind. Ronan McCunn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Silvestre Peli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sun Yuan Zheng hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After 49 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Sun Yuan Zheng. The PHOENIX SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Bichineta were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfried Teunens to make the kick off. Silvestre Peli came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by PHOENIX SC's Samai Asmawan. But to his dismay, Samai Asmawan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Hendrickx came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Teunens in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Teunens came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vennard Rojak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PHOENIX SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Bichineta for a fine match.
