Jude Crocker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Toro Martínez scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jude Crocker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despidida AFC's Mieszko Dabrowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jude Crocker in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riley Trotter in the 33rd minute of play. Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Gines made a kick off. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. Despidida AFC's Szymon Pyrzyce quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dalton Flaherty, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jude Crocker having to make a save. Creekers's Jude Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toro Martínez in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Toro Martínez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jude Crocker was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Czeslaw Kopacz replaced Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino was substituted for Arturo Arano. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Crocker was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
