An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 35th minute of play forced KaoS Futbol Club's goalkeeper Pierluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jacob Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Albuquerque in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Stamen Tekeliev made a precise shot to the right of Pierluigi Buffon. KaoS Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. KaoS Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niva Espellosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Playa Malvín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
