The FK Košíře Praha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Hanka should have stopped the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Turgut Soyuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turgut Soyuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miroslav Navrátil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Abad having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Turgut Soyuer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half Chinese CJ Youth Academy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
