When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Jacob Albuquerque took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pavel Hanka to make any attempt to save it. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Řípa in the 12th minute of play. KaoS Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miroslav Navrátil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
