In the 3rd minute Nariman Mansourian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Åkerström got free with Patric Isaksson in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 9th minute of the match. Sandu Mândrilă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patric Isaksson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fred Åkerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Patric Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Åkerström in the 20th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Di Marinho came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nariman Mansourian in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Fred Åkerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Isaksson came out of the goal and Fred Åkerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patric Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Marinho in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Sandu Mândrilă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandu Mândrilă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Agustín Tastzian put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira. In the 37th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nariman Mansourian to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Åkerström in the 38th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Fred Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A nice corner shot did that Sesuldo Roque got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patric Isaksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zé Roberto Teixeira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Di Marinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 72 minute of play. Patric Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niva Espellosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Lago. If Niva Espellosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niva Espellosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Barrenta SC defense, Niva Espellosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patric Isaksson. The Barrenta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patric Isaksson should have stopped the shot. Playa Malvín were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Barrenta SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sesuldo Roque took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Constantijn De Hond heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
