The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA defense, Carlitos Tevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branislav Velchevski. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branislav Velchevski should have stopped the shot. Stone City made a substitution. Julio Gomez replaced Carlitos Tevez. Arnaldo Gabon might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Slawomir Michalski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo Gabon ran back to his position shaking his head. Slawomir Michalski made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Elpidio Francis sent off a good shot on target. When the referee ended the match the Stone City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
