Luiz Fábio Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Carlitos Tevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stone City's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlitos Tevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlitos Tevez in the 19th minute of the match. Nildo Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nildo Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Nildo Dantas got a free kick in the 24th minute. Stone City's Marcelo Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Bin Shevchenko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Slawomir Michalski, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlitos Tevez in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Leite saved Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting behind. After 34 minutes of play, Stone City's Aras Görkem Özbey made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fábio Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Carlitos Tevez came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Stone City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlitos Tevez couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fábio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlitos Tevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Carlitos Tevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stone City's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlitos Tevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Blumenau Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stone City were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Carlitos Tevez made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Emilio Frasco in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Xandinho Sharkin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlitos Tevez in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fábio Leite saved Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting behind. After having played for 70 minutes, Aras Görkem Özbey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stone City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aras Görkem Özbey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fábio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlitos Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlitos Tevez in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bin Shevchenko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slawomir Michalski having to make a save. Slawomir Michalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bin Shevchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fábio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlitos Tevez in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite got control of the ball when Aras Görkem Özbey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Luiz Fábio Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fábio Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aras Görkem Özbey in the 92nd minute of the match. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Bin Shevchenko got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Emilio Frasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stone City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blumenau Esporte Clube the free kick. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when Stone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Blumenau Esporte Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stone City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
