Gustavo Hartz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Hartz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Hendrickx's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Candido Hendrickx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Hartz having to make a save. Gustavo Hartz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gustavo Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Hendrickx in the 44th minute of the match. Paulino Estevez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Candido Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The A.A. Cachila players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pilar FC were winning 0-2.

A.A. Cachila's attentive Paulino Estevez managed to snatch the ball when Godofredo Lano made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. Gustavo Hartz made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Candido Hendrickx sent off a good shot on target. A.A. Cachila's Terri Moco got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Lizardi charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Lizardi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Lizardi to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Hartz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Hendrickx in the 73rd minute.
