Göktuğ Boysel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Orlan having to interfere. Under 18 Universe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Narciso Tano scored to the left of an out of position Tahsin Orguntay, making the score, 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, Under 18 Universe's Osman Ali Seyyid made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Orlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Salamon during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gustavo Salamon got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Kadri Coşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Tahsin Orguntay managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Narciso Tano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd match minute, Under 18 Universe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asrın Peyami to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Saverio Ladio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tahsin Orguntay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tahsin Orguntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Bertol in the 28th minute of play. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Under 18 Universe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saverio Ladio took the corner. Saverio Ladio made a great header on ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s corner, it was just that Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 31st match minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 32ndth minute of the game Kadri Coşan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay got control of the ball when Narciso Tano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ümit Akersoy kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Rozarius in the 46th minute of play forced Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper Tahsin Orguntay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Orlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hulusi Berkman went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kadri Coşan made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hulusi Berkman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Akersoy came free, but Gavino Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Faustino Lartaun hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Tano in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahsin Orguntay saved Under 18 Universe from getting behind. Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Under 18 Universe getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hulusi Berkman hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Faustino Lartaun seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Faustino Lartaun the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Faustino Lartaun had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Lartaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Görkem Mümtaz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tahsin Orguntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Bertol in the 88th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Cresencio. Hulusi Berkman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gavino Orlan. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lino Perrando kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Under 18 Universe's Gavino Orlan threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kadri Coşan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
