A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Antim Karamanski hit a great ball. When Nedyalko Berberov fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DARAS's protests and gave Nedyalko Berberov a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Nedyalko Berberov. Iliya Kasabov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Delmar Bartoleme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Boncho Zhilev kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Danilo Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Rosendo Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, VERΛ's Anastasio Tab got a free kick in the 25th minute. VERΛ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Boncho Zhilev scored to the left of an out of position Delmar Bartoleme, making the score, 1-0. In the 30th minute, Nano Mitrashkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Luisito Caradaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dobrin Beremov. DARAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Caradaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as DARAS's Boncho Zhilev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delmar Bartoleme. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. In the 42nd match minute, VERΛ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Bidun to maneuver through the defense. When Nano Mitrashkov came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the DARAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nano Mitrashkov couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antim Karamanski to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boncho Zhilev to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boncho Zhilev in the 52nd minute of play forced VERΛ's goalkeeper Delmar Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rumen Dzhananov hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Delmar Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boncho Zhilev in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, DARAS's Boncho Zhilev made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmar Bartoleme was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, DARAS's Iliya Kasabov got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 72 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Iliya Kasabov. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Dobrin Beremov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Delmar Bartoleme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volodya Biradzhiev in the 82nd minute of the match. DARAS made a substitution. Kuzman Bondzhov replaced Kostadin Mazhdrakov. DARAS's Gergin Bogoev was substituted for Volodya Biradzhiev. Kuzman Bondzhov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Bartoleme having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Louis got free with Dobrin Beremov in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Dragan Mangezov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Bartoleme was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The supporters of DARAS booed when VERΛ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DARAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while VERΛ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
