After a defensive mix-up in BULFUT GALAXY CF's zone, Paulo Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Chale came out of the goal and Paulo Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, VERΛ's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Mergildo came free, but Delmar Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Fix in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Luisito Caradaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. VERΛ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Caradaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Chale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremias Eztebe charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Eztebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Jeremias Eztebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Jeremias Eztebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Luisito Caradaro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Arnoldo Chale to make any attempt to save it. Danilo Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Louis in the 34th minute of play forced BULFUT GALAXY CF's goalkeeper Arnoldo Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Arnoldo Chale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Caradaro's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. VERΛ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Remigio Mergildo scored to the left of an out of position Delmar Bartoleme, making the score, 1-1. After 57 played minutes VERΛ got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Garikoitz. Albino James recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Luisito Caradaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Chale was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Louis in the 73rd minute of play forced BULFUT GALAXY CF's goalkeeper Arnoldo Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, BULFUT GALAXY CF's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Garikoitz came free, but Arnoldo Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VERΛ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnoldo Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Caradaro in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VERΛ fans cheered their team off the field, for while BULFUT GALAXY CF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
