In the 13th minute Ciriaco Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Kiliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Afonso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Lehior's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Lehior in the 21st minute of play forced ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goalkeeper Jaime Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Lehior's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Afonso was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Clemente Martino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Kiliz. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. If Dante Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Pedro Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA PANDILLA LOCA's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Ospetsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Justino Filipo's late challenge caught a LA PANDILLA LOCA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Filipo helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Afonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Lehior went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of LA PANDILLA LOCA booed when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA PANDILLA LOCA's Genaro Hever couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ. Jaime Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Martino in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Kiliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 played minutes LA PANDILLA LOCA got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Abad. Virgilio Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Elpidio Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Ciriaco Oinaz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jaime Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Lehior in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Clemente Lauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Quilo. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goalkeeper Jaime Afonso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With 91 minutes on the clock, Honorio Vela commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 92nd match minute, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Vela to maneuver through the defense. LA PANDILLA LOCA's Jonatan Herensuge took a good shot, in the 94th minute, which hit the crossbar above Jaime Afonso's head, and flew over the goal. Despite being the better team, LA PANDILLA LOCA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
