The referee ignored OLYMPIACOS FC's protests and gave Cirilo Chayo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Cirilo Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SAPRIMECKBEL's Victor Thome got a free kick in the 7th minute. Guillermo Araya was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cirilo Chayo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Lore made a kick off. Guillermo Araya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rex Serrano came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Evaristo Guilabertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Araya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Lore in the 89th minute of play forced SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Guillermo Araya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rex Serrano's late challenge caught a OLYMPIACOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rex Serrano helped the player get up and apologised. SAPRIMECKBEL's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
