Ümit Akersoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Oto having to interfere. Hulusi Berkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Görkem Mümtaz's late challenge caught a OLYMPIACOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Görkem Mümtaz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Under 18 Universe's Görkem Mümtaz got a free kick in the 6th minute. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Akersoy in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Under 18 Universe's goalkeeper Tahsin Orguntay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Görkem Mümtaz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ovidio Oto, passed just outside the right post. Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Pelagius in the 24th minute of play. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktuğ Boysel in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Ümit Akersoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ümit Akersoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ovidio Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hulusi Berkman. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hulusi Berkman in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Eliseo Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Hulusi Berkman made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Under 18 Universe from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIACOS FC's zone, Kadri Coşan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal and Kadri Coşan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Berkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Ümit Akersoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Under 18 Universe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OLYMPIACOS FC the free kick. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Akersoy in the 60th minute of play. Baldomiro Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Atalan Maruf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kadri Coşan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Oto was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atalan Maruf in the 67th minute of the match. Under 18 Universe's supporters rose to their feet, but Hulusi Berkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Oto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Laurendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Atalan Maruf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Oto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Evaristo Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Hulusi Berkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Oto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Görkem Mümtaz went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, one of OLYMPIACOS FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Under 18 Universe a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Atalan Maruf, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto. 5-0. When Baldomiro Arias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 98 minutes had been played. After 98 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Arias. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Under 18 Universe fully deserved thier win.
