After 3 played minutes, Under 18 Universe's Atalan Maruf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Oto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Under 18 Universe reached it. When Ümit Akersoy, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 5 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ovidio Oto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Evaristo Guilabertus hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Tahsin Orguntay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ramiro Lore got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, OLYMPIACOS FC's Ramiro Lore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tahsin Orguntay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 23rd minute Kadri Coşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Under 18 Universe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asrın Peyami to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Cirilo Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Under 18 Universe got a freekick which was hit by Göktuğ Boysel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hulusi Berkman during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Under 18 Universe's Hulusi Berkman got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 39th minute, Ümit Akersoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ramiro Lore kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Constantino Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kadri Coşan was the one to do the kick off. Ovidio Oto was a little too slow when Hulusi Berkman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-2. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulusi Berkman in the 58th minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Rodolfo Pelagius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLYMPIACOS FC and the Under 18 Universe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadri Coşan in the 63rd minute of the match. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osman Ali Seyyid in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Hulusi Berkman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidio Oto, 1-4. 80 minutes into the match, Ümit Akersoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidio Oto, 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIACOS FC's zone, Hulusi Berkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal and Hulusi Berkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kadri Coşan got free with Ovidio Oto in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulusi Berkman in the 92nd minute of play. Kadri Coşan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ovidio Oto made a huge save.
