After a rather tough play, VERΛ's Anastasio Erauso got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Chabier in the 11th minute of play forced VERΛ's goalkeeper Delmar Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmar Bartoleme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Etxepare went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luisito Caradaro scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artemio Edwardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Louis got free with Artemio Edwardo in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artemio Edwardo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Paulo Gonzalez sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute Adolfo Etxepare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Lorenzo Louis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Edwardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Caradaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Artemio Edwardo made a huge save. When Anier Menendo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coupon Busters II AR's protests and gave Anier Menendo a yellow card for diving instead. 43 minutes into the game, Placido Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Delmar Bartoleme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, VERΛ's Rosendo Bidun got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Coupon Busters II AR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Edwardo should have stopped the shot. VERΛ's Delmar Bartoleme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save VERΛ from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Angel Chabier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmar Bartoleme. That made the score 2-4 in the 83 minute of play. In the 88th minute, Adolfo Etxepare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Bartoleme was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Delmar Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Pacorro in the 93rd minute of play. Lorenzo Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Edwardo having to interfere. The Coupon Busters II AR players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
