Ramiro Lore started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Lore in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Bartoleme saved VERΛ from getting behind. Norberto Mikelar's late challenge caught a VERΛ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Mikelar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Guilabertus to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of OLYMPIACOS FC booed when VERΛ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luisito Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Garikoitz in the 22nd minute of the match. Ramiro Lore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmar Bartoleme made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Eliseo Eduino sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the game, VERΛ's Danilo Garikoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Oto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Eliseo Eduino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Delmar Bartoleme made a huge save. After 41 played minutes VERΛ got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Caradaro. Ramiro Lore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Delmar Bartoleme made a huge save.

The wind increased when Luisito Caradaro made the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Caradaro in the 51st minute. Paulo Gonzalez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Everardo Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ramiro Lore put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Delmar Bartoleme. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Erauso during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Eduino. Paulo Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Oto having to interfere. Ramiro Lore struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Delmar Bartoleme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLYMPIACOS FC. Vinicio Laurendi's late challenge caught a VERΛ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Rosendo Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The OLYMPIACOS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VERΛ's performance. The match ended with a win for VERΛ.
