The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Eulalio Vincent notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Jaime Afonso. Jaime Afonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eulalio Vincent blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Afonso having to make a save. After 13 minutes, Gaspar Magdaleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galáctico Azul FC™ and the ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Galáctico Azul FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Eulalio Vincent dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Honorio Vela hit a great ball. Eulalio Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Jaime Afonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Maximo Cutberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Martino to make the kick off. Enrique Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Elodio in the 51st minute of play. Jaime Afonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Jaime Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Michael in the 64th minute of play. Edelmiro Derwin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Galáctico Azul FC™ made a substitution. Casimiro Ellande replaced Gaspar Magdaleno. After 70 played minutes Galáctico Azul FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Derwin. In the 74th match minute, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Xabel's late challenge caught a ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Xabel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Alfredo Xabel got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Miliano during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guillermo Miliano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Honorio Vela, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Galáctico Azul FC™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
