Iustinian Purcărete made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Șora in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iustinian Purcărete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iustinian Purcărete should have stopped the shot. Isac Dichiseanu lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 38 minutes into the game, one of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Iustinian Purcărete had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Șora's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Manuel Șora took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustinian Purcărete. Iustinian Purcărete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Movileanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iustinian Purcărete was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florin Bălan made a kick off. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Felix Vorniceanu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Emanuel Movileanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Movileanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iustinian Purcărete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Șora in the 56th minute of play forced -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Iustinian Purcărete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustinian Purcărete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Șora, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Iustinian Purcărete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Șora. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Angheloiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. -BZF- Barca de Buzau made a substitution. Liviu Răuţă replaced Felix Vorniceanu. After 72 played minutes -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Angheloiu. 78 minutes into the game, Luca Mureșan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Barca de Buzau the free kick. Luca Mureșan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Manuel Șora got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Iustinian Purcărete got control of the ball when Manuel Șora tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Luca Mureșan got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Anton Otețea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iustinian Purcărete was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Darius Olaru. In the 94th minute, Manuel Șora reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iustinian Purcărete. The goal made the score 0-6. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Sebastian Purje was substituted for Manuel Șora. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching -BZF- Barca de Buzau's performance. The match ended with a win for -BZF- Barca de Buzau.
