Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luca Mureșan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Mureșan in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Buzău's zone, Petru Pamfil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Ghioane came out of the goal and Petru Pamfil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iustinian Purcărete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Şimonca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Vali Piţurcă got a free kick in the 19th minute. Petru Pamfil hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Luca Mureșan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustinian Purcărete didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Lung went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Iustinian Purcărete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Zgondea in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Isac Dichiseanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buzău the free kick. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Dichiseanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Ghioane made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Petru Pamfil sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Zgondea to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Isac Dichiseanu. After 53 played minutes, FC Buzău's Eduard Zgondea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iustinian Purcărete came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Buzău reached it. After 58 minutes, Eduard Zgondea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Buzău and the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Grigore Hulubei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Pamfil in the 61st minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Ciprian Ghioane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Luca Mureșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Ghioane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Iustinian Purcărete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionel Lung. In the 73rd minute Luca Mureșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Ghioane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Petru Pamfil got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Isac Dichiseanu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Dichiseanu couldn't finish the play. When Doru Apostol fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Buzău's protests and gave Doru Apostol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Doru Apostol hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Luca Mureșan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Ghioane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a corner. FC Buzău's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Traian Muntean ran over to the corner to take the kick. Traian Muntean made a great header on -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's corner, it was just that FC Buzău's Ciprian Ghioane managed to reach the ball for a save. The FC Buzău players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
