In the 15thth minute of the game Patric Linqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's 楚笑霖 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, 天下常熟's 赵渊凌 got control of the ball when Saivis Rentovics tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Linqvist in the 21st minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper 楚笑霖 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 22 minutes on the clock, 麦云昆 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 22nd minute, one of 天下常熟:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 天下常熟. 赵渊凌 went to the wrong direction when Charles McQuarrie was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 楚笑霖 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Linqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsenal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 鲁俊扬 ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saivis Rentovics in the 43rd minute of play forced 天下常熟's goalkeeper 赵渊凌 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Arsenal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. 天下常熟 were winning 0-3.

Arsenal FC's 楚笑霖 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal FC from getting a goal against them. When Aaron Ramsey fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Aaron Ramsey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Aaron Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 天下常熟's Patric Linqvist in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arsenal FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st minute Patric Linqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 楚笑霖 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Linqvist in the 62nd minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper 楚笑霖 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 天下常熟 made a substitution. 梅宇卫 replaced 鲁俊扬. 梅宇卫 kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Patric Linqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's 楚笑霖 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Patric Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenal FC's 楚笑霖 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Linqvist in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, 康常晨 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenal FC made a substitution. 袁崇坚 replaced Charles McQuarrie. 康常晨 hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Linqvist came free, but 楚笑霖 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 楚笑霖 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Linqvist in the 86th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by 王风城 in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Arsenal FC's Alexandru Arnold. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patric Linqvist in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 楚笑霖 saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. 楚笑霖 had great luck who in the 89thth minute grab hold of the ball when Patric Linqvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Patric Linqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 楚笑霖. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patric Linqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from 康常晨 in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 天下常熟's 王风城. The Arsenal FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 天下常熟 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
