Steven Homan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Radowit Trzaskoma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 10th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 11th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radowit Trzaskoma was left in no man's land by his defense there! When FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Balverliefd's goalie prevented a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Gwidon Niezywy in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SV Balverliefd's Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 27th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FA Sandtown were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after SV Balverliefd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomil Barys took the corner. Radowit Trzaskoma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yorrick Zoethout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benoit Van Bettenrode's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes SV Balverliefd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radomil Barys who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Homan in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radowit Trzaskoma saved FA Sandtown from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Steven Homan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radowit Trzaskoma was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 42ndth minute Witomir Skikiewicz beautifully dribbled past SV Balverliefd's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Yorrick Zoethout pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yorrick Zoethout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FA Sandtown fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FA Sandtown made a substitution. Giovani Correia replaced Witomir Skikiewicz. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benoit Van Bettenrode to strike the kick off in the second half. Yorrick Zoethout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Larsson in the 64th minute. Steven Homan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Trzaskoma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Yorrick Zoethout successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Benoit Van Bettenrode blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yorrick Zoethout having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Benoit Van Bettenrode came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Benoit Van Bettenrode put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. FA Sandtown made a substitution. Aleksander Kissel replaced Benoit Van Bettenrode. In the 90th minute Steven Homan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Trzaskoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SV Balverliefd's Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gwidon Niezywy, made in the 94th minute of the game. Felix van As kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded FA Sandtown left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SV Balverliefd.
