After 5 minutes of play, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radowit Trzaskoma was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benoit Van Bettenrode kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 21st minute of play. When FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skövde AIK's goalie prevented a goal. 27 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Radowit Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Norström made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sebastian Larsson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Chen Ao Fan hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Sebastian Larsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Erik Norström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. FA Sandtown were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Skövde AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomil Barys took the corner. Radomil Barys made a great header on FA Sandtown's corner, it was just that Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 44th minute, Benoit Van Bettenrode got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Benoit Van Bettenrode who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

FA Sandtown made a substitution. Giovani Correia replaced Witomir Skikiewicz. Karl-Erik Norström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benoit Van Bettenrode's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. With a little luck, FA Sandtown's Radowit Trzaskoma got control of the ball when Chen Ao Fan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Kissel in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Aleksander Kissel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Kissel took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Erik Norström. Karl-Erik Norström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, FA Sandtown's Radowit Trzaskoma got control of the ball when Kevin Keegan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chen Ao Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Radowit Trzaskoma made a huge save. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Filip Brolin. 92 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's Radomil Barys broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
