After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Gustaf Åström got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Kruuse. In the 7th minute Kingpins were awarded a corner. Rickard Lundgren went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rickard Lundgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivar Albohm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 9th minute, Roger Sandström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivar Albohm. The goal made the score 1-0. Kingpins were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Strömsbro IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rickard Lundgren took the corner. The corner ended in Rickard Lundgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm did a great save. David Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brendan Leblanc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Gabrielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivar Albohm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Kruuse in the 26th minute. Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Västerstrand in the 27th minute of play. Roger Västerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Roger Västerstrand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Albohm. Strömsbro IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Västerstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Västerstrand in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Albohm saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Nyman during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Samuel Hökkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Kingpins's Roger Sandström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ivar Albohm but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Strömsbro IF made a substitution. Alexander Bruse replaced Samuel Hökkvist. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Kruuse was the one to do the kick off. After 53rd play minutes Rickard Lundgren shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Ivar Albohm and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 62nd minute Roger Västerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When David Nyman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Ivar Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giga Mønster got free with Brendan Leblanc in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Kruuse in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Rickard Lundgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Albohm. Börge Kristiansson replaced Giga Mønster. In the 76th minute, Börge Kristiansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Lundgren in the 83rd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Gabrielsson got free with Brendan Leblanc in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Nils-Emil Ahlstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Albohm was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Sandström in the 88th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strömsbro IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
