With a little luck, Wolverhampton's Tomas Johnsson got control of the ball when Miromir Szostak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klas Ingesson charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klas Ingesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Wolverhampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Ingesson to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes of play, FC Hackspett U21's Miromir Szostak made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 30th minute, Ye Feng Feng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Miromir Szostak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomas Johnsson. Tomas Johnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Wilhelm Kilberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Wilhelm Kilberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Hackspett U21 defense, Fabian Mogren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joachim Holmgren. The FC Hackspett U21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joachim Holmgren should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miromir Szostak made a kick off. Tomas Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Szostak in the 54th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Ye Feng Feng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Johnsson. Luka Pirlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Johnsson having to interfere. When Luka Pirlo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Hackspett U21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luka Pirlo couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Miromir Szostak put it in 10-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Johnsson. Miromir Szostak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Klemensson in the 96th minute of the match.
