An unexpectedly hard shot by Khamzat Chimaev in the 7th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Heren Istarion's Sven-Åke Samuelsson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jörgen Åström in the 10 minute of the game. Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elberg Azov in the 12th minute of play. Tony Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukas Drewitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Elberg Azov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Albohm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Heren Istarion's Lukas Drewitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save The Heren Istarion from getting a goal against them. Ivar Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elberg Azov, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Ivar Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khamzat Chimaev in the 37th minute of play. Tony Skarkman kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Örjan Frisk to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Oliver Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 played minutes The Heren Istarion got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Göktuğ Zekeriya. Lukas Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Skarkman in the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the The Heren Istarion defense, Tony Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukas Drewitz. The The Heren Istarion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukas Drewitz should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yin Di Bin. 65 minutes into the match, The Heren Istarion's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Frisk came free, but Lukas Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Drewitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Elberg Azov came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Strömsbro IF's Kenny Liljeström was substituted for Rikard Hägglund. Jörgen Åström hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Elberg Azov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ivar Albohm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lukas Drewitz came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Strömsbro IF's Örjan Frisk. But to his dismay, Örjan Frisk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kenny Liljeström hit a great ball. When the match was over The Heren Istarion could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Strömsbro IF throughout the match.
