SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Iliana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goalkeeper Tomas Donovan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Iliana. Julio Ferman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berry Giles in the 46th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Cyril Cantrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Sebastian Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Micheal Burnham hit a great ball. SAN LORENZO FC's Sebastian Iliana got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sebastian Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Donovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Flames FC booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sebastian Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Ellsworth Erwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Marcelo Michael broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The SAN LORENZO FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Flames FC to win.
