Tomas Donovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Zagrodny in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Gustaw Kaczorowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Husaria Tarnów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 28 minutes, Carrol McLean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flames FC and the Husaria Tarnów players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Carrol McLean. If Florian Obarenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Donovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Bloom, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Kaczorowski in the 42nd minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Tomas Donovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Carrol McLean hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrose Keen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ambrose Keen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petrus Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrose Keen in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petrus Szczęsny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florian Obarenes took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Donovan. Tomas Donovan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Petrus Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Giles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flames FC's Tomas Donovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Bloom in the 59th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Carrol McLean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flames FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micheal Burnham in the 72nd minute. Flames FC's Berry Giles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Petrus Szczęsny in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Husaria Tarnów booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beau Hinojosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Husaria Tarnów's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrose Keen came free, but Petrus Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Husaria Tarnów got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Mondrowski. In the 79th minute of the match Sylvain Ransom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petrus Szczęsny showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustaw Kaczorowskis short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Tomas Donovan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustaw Kaczorowski in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomas Donovan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrose Keen in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petrus Szczęsny saved Husaria Tarnów from getting behind.
