Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Luck's Eduard Mutu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatán Cabello in the 7th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Nicu Mincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eduard Mutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Tate in the 15th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Nicu Mincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatán Cabello came free, but Nicu Mincu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Scutaru in the 22nd minute of play. Gheorghe Comăneci hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, Navalito's Jonatán Cabello made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Mincu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Jonatán Cabello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Mincu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Navalito's Juan Ignacio Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Mutu in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Romeo Jurado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Mincu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 42 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Neicu. When Navalito's Jonatán Cabello in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Luck's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Jurado was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Jonatán Cabello recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicu Mincu. Jonatán Cabello showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 53rd match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Mutu to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, Navalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobbo Lobera to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Bădila in the 58th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Matildo Klein kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavril Neicu to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Matildo Klein charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Matildo Klein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Luck booed when Navalito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Matildo Klein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatán Cabello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Ignacio Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Scutaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Romeo Jurado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navalito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Virgilio Buendia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Luck's zone, Virgilio Buendia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicu Mincu came out of the goal and Virgilio Buendia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicu Mincu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Buendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Luck's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeo Jurado was slow to take the kick. During this time Navalito's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Navalito's Romeo Jurado to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicu Mincu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Silviu Bădila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Juan Ignacio Grove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Navalito's Virgilio Buendia in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Luck's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute, Niculae Scutaru made a precise shot to the right of Juan Ignacio Grove. Navalito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5.
