Ambrose Keens short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Claes Wallmark to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 9 minutes into the game, Curcio Borrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tomas Donovan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Curcio Borrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Sylvain Ransom. Berry Giles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Claes Wallmark made a huge save. The Flames FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Flames FC's Ambrose Keen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 30th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrose Keen to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Donovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Bäckström in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Curcio Borrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Curcio Borrero in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Donovan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mustafa Cumhur Birge fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Trollebo's protests and gave Mustafa Cumhur Birge a yellow card for diving instead. Mustafa Cumhur Birge hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Curcio Borrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrose Keen was the one to do the kick off. Curcio Borrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Tomas Donovan made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Cumhur Birge in the 56th minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Tomas Donovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berry Giles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Wallmark having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrose Keen in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Wallmark saved AC Trollebo from getting behind. Curcio Borrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tomas Donovan made a huge save. Mustafa Cumhur Birge was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Flames FC booed when AC Trollebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Cumhur Birge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Wallmark was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, AC Trollebo's goal looked a bit too open when Berry Giles came free, but Claes Wallmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes AC Trollebo got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Käcker. Claes Wallmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrose Keen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Flames FC booed when AC Trollebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Bäckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st match minute, AC Trollebo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Rudkvist to maneuver through the defense. AC Trollebo's Claes Wallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berry Giles in the 88th minute of play. If Carrol McLean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flames FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
