Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martin Goi started the match with the kick off. Fabricio Hug charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Hug the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabricio Hug hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CACYFA's Reynaldo Lopes got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Micheal Burnham came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Flames FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micheal Burnham couldn't finish the play. After 11 minutes, Carrol McLean made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. CACYFA's Siro Menendo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute Ambrose Keen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Menendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Menendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrose Keen in the 17th minute of the match. Tomas Donovan was a little too slow when Valentin Eutor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Enrique Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micheal Burnham kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Tomas Donovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Goi in the 25th minute of play. Siro Menendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrose Keen's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carrol McLean in the 31st minute of play forced CACYFA's goalkeeper Siro Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Carrol McLean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tomas Donovan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Enrique Demesio sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, Flames FC's Ambrose Keen made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Menendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Ambrose Keen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Menendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CACYFA booed when Flames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micheal Burnham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Flames FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrose Keen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Flames FC's Carrol McLean in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CACYFA's goalie prevented a goal. Siro Menendo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Sylvain Ransom sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute Ambrose Keen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Menendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carrol McLean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Donovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Goi in the 66th minute of play. Valentin Eutor made a great header on CACYFA's corner, it was just that Flames FC's Tomas Donovan managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, CACYFA's Froilan Fix got a free kick in the 69th minute. Siro Menendo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berry Giles went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Froilan Fix hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrose Keen in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Menendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 87 minutes, Martin Goi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CACYFA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Goi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, CACYFA's goalkeeper Siro Menendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrose Keen. Carrol McLean was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
