The ball went over the crossbar instead. 2 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Pozorski came free, but Tomas Donovan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, IFK Ranger's Olov Berglund got a free kick in the 4th minute. Micheal Burnham struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Tomas Vennerlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flames FC. After a defensive mix-up in Flames FC's zone, Vidar Lustig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Donovan came out of the goal and Vidar Lustig tried to chip the ball over his head. Tomas Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carrol McLean, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ambrose Keen sped through IFK Ranger's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Vennerlund. Beau Hinojosa kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tomas Donovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Lustig in the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kacper Pozorski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Donovan was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Tomas Vennerlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrose Keen in the 27th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kacper Pozorski was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Vidar Lustig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Ranger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Flames FC made a substitution. Chase Hale replaced Beau Hinojosa. With his leg Tomas Donovan managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when IFK Ranger's Kacper Pozorski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Donovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Pozorski in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Ranger's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Vennerlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kacper Pozorski got free with Tomas Donovan in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Berry Giles notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of IFK Ranger's Tomas Vennerlund. Tomas Vennerlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
