AC Trollebo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elazar Cacho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Navalito's Elazar Cacho to fire away a dangerous shot which Claes Wallmark despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 14 minutes, Virgilio Buendia made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. AC Trollebo's Claes Wallmark tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Virgilio Buendia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Arne Larsson hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curcio Borrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Romeo Jurado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Wallmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 55th minute, Sigvard Danielsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Romeo Jurado came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Navalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Jurado couldn't finish the play. Claes Wallmark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Buendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Virgilio Buendia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navalito's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Buendia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Wallmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigvard Danielsson's late challenge caught a Navalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvard Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. When Curcio Borrero came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the AC Trollebo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Curcio Borrero couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Navalito's Virgilio Buendia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claes Wallmark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Ignacio Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Bäckström in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Romeo Jurado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navalito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curcio Borrero got free with Juan Ignacio Grove in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Navalito fully deserved thier win.
