Ronald Kip came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Flames FC's Beau Hinojosa. But to his dismay, Beau Hinojosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ronald Kip came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Flames FC's Berry Giles. But to his dismay, Berry Giles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Berry Giles scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronald Kip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Melvin Hulsebos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pannekoeken's Ronald Kip proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pannekoeken from getting a goal against them. Flames FC's Micheal Burnham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ronald Kip in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Berry Giles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Kip was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Ronald Kip had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berry Giles. Flames FC made a substitution. Orval Crow replaced Kermit Morris. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Melvin Hulsebos got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute Carrol McLean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Kip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Berry Giles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Kip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronald Kip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berry Giles went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Orval Crow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ronald Kip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micheal Burnham to maneuver through the defense. Flames FC played a much better game than Pannekoeken and deserved their victory. The Pannekoeken players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
