Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ambrose Keen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomas Donovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Tomas Donovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Leão in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Kermit Morris. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Leão in the 16th minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Tomas Donovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Belo Academy got a corner. Flames FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeferson Proença ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vitinho Leme got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Donovan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomas Donovan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Salgado went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Bernardinho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Donovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Bernardinho Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Donovan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Cristian Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Donovan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Cristian Salgado got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Bernardinho Leão came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Belo Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Leão couldn't finish the play. Tomas Donovan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardinho Leão's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kermit Morris charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kermit Morris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kermit Morris hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. If Carrol McLean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Bernardinho Leão sped through Flames FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Donovan. Cristian Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tomas Donovan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Bernardinho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Donovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Keven Lavallée fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Keven Lavallée a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Keven Lavallée. Tomas Donovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Donovan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Leme in the 95th minute of the match. Belo Academy played a much better game than Flames FC and deserved their victory. The Flames FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
